How we work

Our 3-Step HVAC Process

Whether it’s a new AC, a heat pump or a furnace, our process keeps the job organized, permitted and done right, with no surprises on price.

01

Step 01 · Discovery

Free Estimate Visit

Every replacement starts with a look at what you have and how the house feels: the equipment, the ductwork, the electrical panel and the rooms that run hot or cold.

On-site look

A technician checks your system, ducts and panel, asks how you use the house, and answers your questions on the spot.

What we review

  • Age and condition of the system
  • Load calculation for sizing
  • Duct leaks and airflow
  • Electrical panel capacity
  • Rebates for your utility

A clear price

You get written options with prices, usually including a repair-or-replace answer. No pressure to decide that day.

02

Step 02 · Plan & Permit

Plan It and Pull the Permit

Once you say go, we lock in the details so install day runs smoothly: equipment, permit, rebate paperwork and a date that works for you.

Equipment and scope

We confirm the system, the thermostat, any duct work and exactly what is included.

Paperwork handled

  • Permit from your city or county
  • HERS verification scheduled
  • SMUD rebate filing when eligible
  • Equipment ordered

Confirmed before we start

You know the install date, how long you will be without heating or cooling, and what to expect.

03

Step 03 · Install

Install, Test and Hand Off

Our NATE-certified technicians install the system, test it, and meet the HERS rater and the inspector.

Clean installation

Old equipment removed and recycled, refrigerant lines and drains run neatly, and the work area left clean.

Testing and inspection

  • Refrigerant charge and airflow
  • Duct leakage test
  • Carbon monoxide check on gas equipment
  • City or county final inspection

Walkthrough

We set up the thermostat, show you the filter, and explain the warranty registration. If something comes up later, you know who to call.
